"Every Child is Special"

Taare Zameen Par is the title of the movie that I have recently watched. It is about a boy that is neglected by almost everyone, even his own father neglects him because he doesn't know how to read and even write properly. He knows how to write but his words are sort of scrambled and some letters are inverted. One thing that made this boy unique is that he has a talent in art but the people around him cannot see that because the boy's talents are hidden below his flaws. So for a few years, the boy suffered from the criticisms, insults, and punishments of his teachers and parent.


Then a new teacher came. The new teacher was the one to find out that the boy has dyslexia wherein the child could not read nor write properly or even follow correct instructions. He explained everything to the boy's family along with the principal and teacher. He told them that he would do everything in order to make the boy know his self, stop from being depressed and of course develop the boy's skills along with his confidence. So the teacher did everything. He taught the boy how to read and to write. He made the boy know that he is worth for. He made the boy more special. He made the boy alive!

P.S. Although the movie is quite long, I guarantee you that it is worth watching for. You can learn many things and apply it in life. I can also apply it because as a nurse the most important thing we do is to CARE!
